Eagle District
What is the Golden Eagle District,
you ask?
The Golden Eagle District is one of five area districts, or
geographic subdivisions, within the Golden Spread Council's area. Its
geographic territory covers the western half of Amarillo, as well as the City of
Canyon, Texas. The other Golden Spread districts are: Lone Wolf, Longhorn,
Quanah Parker, and Santa Fe.
District Leadership
Below are the volunteers who help lead the Golden Eagle
District. For information on district events, programs, activities,
advancements, camps, training, Order of the Arrow -- or any other information --
contact the appropriate Committee Chair listed below. For help in
recruiting or running your Pack or Troop or Crew, contact your Unit Commissioner
or Asst. Unit Commissioner. If any of these persons cannot be
reached then contact Sr. District Executive Rhett Steven at the Scout Center at
806-358-6500 (or send him an email). You can also check the Golden Spread
Council's website (http://www.goldenspread.org) for events & news.
